Theme: Dislocation
“Most of us have had a feeling of dislocation now and then, that sense of being in a place where we weren’t the moment before, where we don’t belong, where things are subtly different. Dislocation is a common thread among this issue’s stories. We have an angel’s child in changing times, beauty where it doesn’t belong, a barn out of place, alien beauty in the eye of the beholder, matter too dark to see, and a muse ready to start painting possibilities.”
